These people are usually seeking a home based business. The other people who visit forums do post regularly and while they often already have a business, they may be open to other offers. How can you use forums effectively to find business partners? The way to make this effective is to be a regular contributor. Be sure to post an introduction as a new member and then add something of value. The more you can contribute by sharing marketing tips and other suggestions, the more people will see you as a leader and marketing expert. This in turn will make people curious and want to find out what it is you are marketing. Forums allow signatures, this means at the end of your post and after you name you can usually have a descriptive line about your company and then a link to your web site. This is your advertisement so you want to choose your descriptive line carefully. Don't ever make posts just specifically about your opportunity, this is considered spam and will not be taken seriously by most people. Some forums do have specific areas where you are welcome to let others know what you have to offer. Be sure to read the forum rules! You may find a particular area of the forum where advertising is allowed, it depends on the forum. However the best advertisement you can give is to just be YOU! Participate in discussions and start new ones in areas that you know a lot about. If you can add something that particularly helps people, whether it be internet promotion or something else that can assist people in growing their business, it not only will be appreciated but will usually find you new online friends and business partners. How do you find forums? Do a google search and type in network marketing forums, MLM forums and internet forums. You will find many that way. These are the most obvious but you might want to consider also joining forums that fit your particular interest. There are many on travel, pets, and entertainment just to name a few. I suggest you check to see how active a forum is, meaning how many members it has and how often people are posting. Your time will be much better spent in forums with large memberships.
